ESB say they expect to have power restored to all impacted customers by around 5 o'clock this evening. 

Those affected are a mixture of customers who lost power during storm Isha and Jocelyn.

ESB crews are dealing with over 250 individual faults, the majority of which are in the general Cavan area.

The qualifying usage is 150 kilowatts, but since Rita is below that rate, she now has to pay her latest electricity bill in full.

23,000 customers are still without power in Cavan and Monaghan this lunchtime.
