The ESB has applied for planning permission for a new mast in Cavan town.
It hopes to build the 36 metre high structure at Moynehall, close to the
Ballinagh road.
ESB Networks says works would include the mast, communications dishes and
antennae, a fence to surround the compound and other works.

Cavan County Council is due to issue a decision in late April.
