Historic soldier, Eoghan Rua Ó Néill, was the nephew of Hugh O'Neill the 2nd Earl of Tyrone.
Cavan County Council has organised a program of events which will look at different elements of Eoghan Rua's story.

Conleth Manning formerly worked as an archaeologist with the National Monuments Service and directed archaeological excavations at many sites around the country including Clogh Oughter.
