A young Co Fermanagh man has died after taking ill while competing in a half marathon in Scotland. The 24-year-old, named locally as Aaron Johnston from Enniskillen, had been taking part in the Glasgow Half Marathon on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Glasgow Green at around 11.15am and the young man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment, but passed away a short time later.
His family say they are "completely heartbroken" by his death.
