Emergency services attend collision on the N3

Emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic collision on the N3 in Virginia.

One person has been airlifted to hospital as a result of the collision which occurred near the Lakeside Manor, on the Dublin side.

Local Gardai are asking road users to avoid the area at this time and to use an alternative route.

Diversions are in place. Southbound traffic will be diverted via the R194 in Mullagh and Northbound traffic will be diverted at Maghara via Munterconnaught.
