The Minister for Further and Higher Education is to virtually visit Cavan Institute today.
Minister Simon Harris will meet with staff and students to hear about their experiences of further education.
The new ministerial post was created after last year's election, effectively splitting the sector into a dedicated department.

Minister Harris will also meet with Management at Cavan Institute, including Director Anne Marie Lacey, CMETB CEO John Kearney and Chair of the Institute's Board of Management Clifford Kelly.
The virtual visit forms part of a national tour of further education facilities the Minister is undertaking.
