Drugs discovered in a packages washed up off the coast of Donegal are estimated to be worth €4m. The bales of suspected cocaine were found up on beaches in Fanad, and Dunfanaghy.
Yesterday, a boat was impounded as part of a Garda investigation into the incident. Stephen Maguire Editor of Donegal Daily says a pier has also been sealed off. "A boat had been impounded by Gardaí and Customs & Excise at Magheroarty Pier which is a very popular area and services Tory Island.
"They are not commenting on that boat being impounded at this stage for operational reasons, however, that pier is currently blocked off," he added.
