Almost half a million euro in extra funding has been announced for the new enterprise centre in Castleblayney.
The centre will be known as The Ridge when complete and it's expected to create space for up to 70 jobs.
€2.1 million was announced for the project in early 2019 and the €473,000 announced today is expected to meet increased construction costs.
It's hoped the centre will benefit the town centre as it's to be built on a derelict site on McGrath Road.
Meanwhile, work has begun on the renovation of Gate Lodge 2 for use as the town's new library.
