Gardaí have arrested two men following a seizure of over €334,000 cannabis following a search in Belturbet, Co. Cavan on Wednesday.
A search was carried out at a grow house which led to the seizure of cannabis worth €334,000. The garda seizure included €44,000 worth of cannabis plants and €290,000 in cannabis herb.
Gardai have now sent the drugs to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis. Two men in their 30s have been arrested in connection with the haul and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, at a Garda Station in the North Western region.
