€20,000 worth of cannabis and €2,400 worth of speed have been discovered in Co Cavan.
The detection was made after Cavan/Monaghan Garda Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house under warrant in Ballyhaise.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident and questioned at Cavan Garda Station.

He has since been charged in with the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
Meanwhile, the search was carried out as part of Operation Tara and the divisional drugs unit was assisted by Gardai, and the Garda Dog Unit.
