A Monaghan-based athlete and Garda has won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games.
Para cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy and pilot Eve McCrystal have secured themselves the silver in the B 3000m individual pursuit.

It is Katie-George's 6th Paralympic medal.
Monaghan athlete, Eve McCrystal, who is 46 years old, has participated in the Paralympic Games four times.
The victory marks their last partnership.
Dunlevy and McCrystal posted a time of 3:21:315, with Britain's Unwin and Holly obtaining the gold medal with a 3:19.149.
