Drunk driver and learner's cars seized in Monaghan

The vehicles belonging to an intoxicated driver and an unaccompanied learner driver have been seized by gardaí in Monaghan. Fixed Charge penalty notices have also been issued to the motorists.

The intoxicated driver was also found to be driving a vehicle with no insurance, no tax and no NCT.

That driver has also been charged to court while Gardaí remind learners they must be accompanied by a fully-licenced driver who holds their licence for at least two years.
