Herbal cannabis and cannabis resin worth €275,000 destined for addresses in Monaghan and Louth. has been seized.
Revenue officers, with the help of detector dog James, discovered the drugs in Dublin yesterday. Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Dublin seized 13.5 kgs of herbal cannabis and 882 grammes of cannabis resin with an estimated value of €275,000.
The illicit drugs were discovered in parcels which had originated from Spain and Portugal and were destined for addresses in Monaghan and Louth. Investigations are ongoing.
