Cavan and Monaghan have seen a further drop in their Covid-19 rates with the publication of the latest number of cases.
The Department of Health today recorded 12 new cases in Cavan today and a further eight in Monaghan.
While this is up from yesterday's figures of nine in Cavan and less than five in Monaghan, the two counties have seen another drop in their 14-day incidence rate.
Cavan's stands at 475.3 cases per 100,000 people and remains the county with the highest rate in the country. Monaghan's rate is 221.5 and has dropped below the national average.
Nationally today 322 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Ireland and five new deaths.
