As part of National Heritage Week, a drop in event for the public is taking place which focuses on the Monaghan Town regeneration project.
The event titled "Reimagining Monaghan" will take place at Monaghan Shopping Centre between 10am and 5pm.
The drop in event is an opportunity for the public to find out about the Monaghan Town regeneration project, and to speak about your vision for the town.
Monaghan County Council would like to hear about people's experiences of living and working in Monaghan, your memories of growing up here and stories of community spirit in the town.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Sean Conlon believes that the input of locals will help the team to develop a viable and community-led plan, and engage with the project going forward:
