It's after a further 90 deaths were reported yesterday - the second highest daily figure.
Case numbers continue to fall, with the latest daily figure standing at 928 - however close contacts of confirmed cases are still not being tested.
In the Northern Sound region, while there's been a slight decrease in Monaghan's 14-day incidence rate, it remains more than double the national average at 1,476.
There's also been a further drop in Cavan's 14-day incidence rate of the virus, with this number now standing at 738. This is slightly above the national average of 720 per 100,000.
Latest figures show there are 1,689 people in public hospitals with the disease, while 216 are in ICUs.
