Works on the development of Bailieboro's Town Centre First Plan are progressing with a public event being held this evening.
This is an opportunity for people to have their say on the future of the main street in the town.
A Community Drop-In Event will be held in the Bailie Hotel in Bailieboro until 7pm,
Following that consultation, Cavan County Council now want to present the Draft Plan for further public consultation and are inviting feedback from the local community on the emerging ideas and proposals for the future of the Cavan Town.
The project team has taken on board the comments and feedback received at the public consultation workshop that was carried out in recent months. Copies of the Draft Plan will also be available for viewing in Bailieboro Library from today until Monday the 28th of August.
Local TD Deputy Niamh Smyth says this is a great opportunity for people who live, work and do business in the town to have their say.
