The Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD has signed off on draft plans for a Public Realm Scheme in Inniskeen.
Public consultation on the plan for the village was held last year and developments for cycle areas, improved signage and the overall aesthetic of the village were proposed.
Councillor Aidan Campbell proposed adopting the plans and commended "people who have been working hard behind the scenes" to progress the scheme.
Aidan Campbell says it's an "exciting development" and means a plan "is now in place for when funding opportunities become available":
