Local man Mark Connolly will represent Monaghan in the annual 16th Annual Mr. Personality Festival which is being organised by Kilkenny County Macra na Feirme.
The event takes place from April 14th to 15th at The Talbot Hotel in Clonmel.
The t native is an active member of Three Parishes Macra na Feirme. His hobbies and interests include Suckler Cows, Machinery and Poultry. He is a man of many talents and will entertain the crowd with a small rendition on the tin whistle on the night. Mark believes he will make a good representative for Monaghan because he believes a smile is the only curve that sets the world straight and he is always up for a laugh!
The 26 year old has a jam-packed weekend ahead of him. The contestants will arrive at The Talbot Hotel at 6pm tonight, with the on-stage interviews conducted by Beat 102-103's Michelle Heffernan starting at 8pm. Mark says he will have an early start tomorrow morning with contestant private interviews with the judges for the competition planned.
