Daire Gorman, the inspirational schoolboy from Tonniscoffey, will be on our TV screens tonight in a fly-on-the-wall documentary about his life.
He will be best known for the many adventures he's been part of in 2024 from meeting Moh Salah and Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, competing in a wheelchair tournament in Paris, and travelling to meet the Irish Rugby Team.
But, as Daire lives with a rare disease called Cromellin Syndrome and is a wheelchair user, life can throw Daire some curveballs.
Daire caught the eye of producers at RTÉ who have made a documentary about his life including undergoing surgery and transitioning from primary to secondary school this year.
Daire told Northern Sound he wants other children with additional needs to know they can do anything they set their mind to.
"What Daire Did Next" is on RTÉ 1 tonight at 6:30pm.
