The Do Not Consume notice on a Cavan group water scheme remains in place.
Cavan County Council says work is on-going to improve conditions to lift the notice on the Barraghy/Farmoyle Group Water Scheme.
It was put in place almost two weeks ago due to levels of manganese that are higher than those permitted.
People in the area are being warned that boiling water from their taps will not make it safe to consume.
Alternative water supplies should be used for drinking, preparing or in food, brushing teeth or making ice.
Water tankers are available in the area at Niall Dempsey's yard, Eircode H18 E640.
