The 'Do not Consume' notice has been lifted for the Farmoyle/Barraghy Group Water Scheme.
The water is now safe for use and can be used for drinking and food preparation to all water users with immediate effect.
Cavan County Council have said that if your internal water system has been in general use throughout the period of the notice you may now use your water supply as normal.
However, if water has not been in use, consumers should flush out their systems by running their hot and cold taps for at least thirty minutes before resuming normal.
For further information please contact Farmoyle/Barraghy Group Water Scheme.
