Diversions remain in place on the N3 in Cavan following a serious collision that occurred overnight.
A man in his 30s continues to be treated for his injuries at Cavan General Hospital following the crash involving a lorry and car.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the Deggan area, between Cavan town and Butlersbridge at around midnight.

The road is expected remain closed for a number of hours to allow for the road to be cleared, and local diversions are in place.
