A 'dilapidated historical warehouse' in Carrickmacross is to be turned into an apartment block.
Corvalley Enterprises Limited submitted plans to Monaghan County Council to carry out works on Shirley House Lane.
The application was to change the use of an existing building to the rear of No.41, 43 and 45 on Main Street in Carrickmacross to a residential building.
It will comprise of ten one-bed apartments and two two-bed flats.
The plans also includes works to comply with fire and sound regulations, and to renovate parts of the existing building.
Monaghan County Council approved permission subject to conditions.
