The development of a new public carpark in Ballybay has been stalled.
The plans for the 43 parking space were announced in September and will be constructed at the Courtyard off main street.
Unanimous support was given for the Part VIII planning application by Monaghan County Councillors at the end of last year; however, Covid restrictions have impacted the progress.
Local councillor for the area Seamus Coyle was told at this month's Ballybay-Clones MD meeting that a contractor has been lined up but no time-line can be given until restrictions are lifted.
