According to Deputy Carthy Sinn Fein will not be re-running this referendum at any stage in the next government.

Deputy Carthy says the reality in his constituency is that only 65% of the recommended staff are in place and where there were no CAMHS consultants available to teams for long periods.

TD says government control of the public service broadcaster's finances would bring accountability, transparency and restore public confidence.

Matt Carthy said in a statement. "Ursula von der Leyen's actions were in clear and direct contravention of this reality. She should not be rewarded with a second term in office.
