Department approves extension for Kilnaleck school

The Department of Education has given its approval for the extension of Kilnaleck National School. The move will see the construction of a new classroom and two SET rooms under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.

Minister for Education, Norma Foley made the announcement yesterday evening. Local TD's welcomed the announcement, with Deputy Brendan Smith saying it was very welcome news for the community in Kilnaleck.
