A local dentist says colleagues who signed up to help in the Covid-19 vaccination roll-out are still "in the dark" about the role they will play.
Next Thursday is the closing date for dentists to sign up to aid with the roll-out.
However, Joanne O'Riordan, of Church Street Dental in Cavan, says dentists have yet to receive "official" communication on what their role will involve.
It comes following claims that around 200 surgeries still haven't received any doses for the over 85s.
The HSE says a 'relatively small number' of GP practices are experiencing issues with vaccine supplies and it's on target to administer the first dose of a covid injection to over 85s by the end of this week.
Joanne told this morning's Joe Finnegan Show that she's hopeful dentists will receive clarification on the part they will play soon:
