Plans for a new overflow carpark at Cavan Equestrian Centre have been
appealed to An Bord Pleanála by the centre.
Its management had applied to build a new 108 space carpark at the site,
which would be accessed through existing car parks.
Cavan County Council last month refused the development due to its proximity
to houses and concerns over "an overconcentration" of parking to serve the
Equestrian Centre.
Centre management has now appealed the decision to An Bord Pleanála which is
due to issue its decision in early July.
