Christmas lights that were damaged and stolen over the festive period from Ballybay has been condemned by local representatives.
Christmas lights and trees were damaged in the Corrybrennan Culbrannan Park are of the town over the festive period.
Other Christmas lights and equipment were stolen during the period also.
Speaking at this week's monthly meeting of the Ballybay/Clones Municipal district, the cathaoirleach Cllr. Hugh McElvaney said that this act has to be condemned.
Councillor Sean Gilliland said the Christmas lights on display in the town this year were a credit to the committee.
