Combilift is hosting a cycling fundraiser in Monaghan Town today in aid of local charity LA519.
LA519 was founded by Barry Aughey and Deirdre Costello after the tragic loss of their son Luke, who died by suicide on 25th May, 2019.
The charity supports teenagers in Monaghan and surrounding areas who are experiencing mental health challenges or having suicidal thoughts, by improving the access to support services.
The cyclothon is taking place today in the Diamond in Monaghan from 10 to 3 pm and will feature a guest appearance from the Monaghan Ladies team, who will also be raffling off a signed jersey.
Other raffle prizes include a poster signed by "Peaky Blinders" star Cillian Murphy, and jerseys signed Tommy Bowe and Conor McManus.
All proceeds raised by the cyclothon will go directly to LA-5-19 to help combat teenage suicide.
