A local TD has criticised the damage caused by quads and scramblers at a Cavan beauty spot.
In recent days, the trails surrounding Loughanleagh on the Kingscourt-Bailieborough border have been torn up by people on off-road bikes.
Fianna Fail TD Niamh Smyth visited the site to see the damage for herself, and said the abuse and vandalism of the local area needs to stop.
She added that the community of Loughanleagh and Muff Heritage Trust are concerned and upset by the recent events.
The walkways have been left muddy and uneven after what's being described as "organised meets".
In a video posted online, Deputy Niamh Smyth made this appeal.
