Fire crews are dealing with a grassland fire in Maghera in Co Cavan this evening.
The fire began on Bruise Hill in the area this evening.
Crews from Virginia and Ballyjamesduff have responded to the fire, with local Civil Defence teams providing drone support.
Cavan County Council is asking people to avoid the L7106 Lisduff road.
It's also asking people travelling on the N3 not to slow down as there are concerns rubbernecking could cause a serious crash on the route.
Local Councillor and Cavan County Cathaoirleach Shane P O'Reilly has said he hopes all animals, fire personnel and locals are safe.
