Cavan recorded fewer than five Covid cases yesterday, with none in Monaghan.
It’s the second time in a week that Monaghan has recorded no new cases after having the highest incidence rate in the country for weeks.
It’s now dropped to the tenth highest but it remains above the national average.
Cavan has the tenth lowest rate in the country.
Meanwhile, Ireland is on track to have one of the lowest incidence rates of Covid-19 in Europe.
NPHET say the number of people in hospitals with the disease has fallen by 38 percent, while also saying disinformation must be overcome.
612 cases have been detected, while six more deaths linked to the disease have been reported.
537 people are being treated in public hospitals, while there's 134 patients in ICU.
