A county Cavan GAA club is installing cameras at its grounds, after lights surrounding a new walkway were smashed.
Clg Cuchulainn, in Mullagh, say "a small minority seem intent on continually vandalising in and around the sports centre".
The club says the cameras will be installed "at an unwanted expense", but adds that their "options are limited as this cannot continue".
In an online post, the Mullagh club said this recent act of vandalism "is hugely disheartening as a lot of fundraising efforts has gone towards this facility".
CLG Cuchulainn has reminded the public that no one should be in the area of the new walkway without permission.
