The first ever Photographer in Residence at the National Library of Ireland will visit the Northern Sound region in the coming months as part of her first research study.
Artist Paula T Nolan only took up photography in 2013 but, has n=been appointed into the first role created by the National Library in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency earlier this year.
She will visit Slieve Rushen Bog and Lough Sheelin to talk to Irish anglers and when she visits Monaghan, Paula T will photograph Eshbrack Bog - looking at vegetation, wildlife and natural bog habitat loss. Her work will then be shown in a public exhibition:
