A local Fine Gael Councillor has said it’s “unfair” that party members don’t get a vote on the Programme for Government.
Under Fine Gael rules only elected representatives and executive members in each constituency are eligible.
This is at odds with both Fianna Fáil and the Green Party which grant a vote to every party member.
Virginia Councillor TP O’Reilly says many members he has spoken to are disappointed they can’t vote.
