It's hoped that the widely anticipated pop-up swimming pool which is planned for Carrickmacross will be available to the public by September.
That's according to Sinn Fein's Colm Carthy.
While it was hoped the swimming pool would be available prior to the summer, Cllr Carthy has been informed by Swim Ireland that the facility is set to be up and running in Carrickmacross by early September.
According to Cllr Carthy, dates have been confirmed to start rolling out the infrastructure next month in the hope it will be made available for early September.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Carthy said he was hopeful that the facility would be in place for at least 6 months over the winter months:
