People have until Monday to make submissions on plans to temporarily pedestrianise part of Cavan town centre.
The County Council has proposed the plans to allow for outdoor activities over the summer months.
It would see Main Street in the town pedestrianised from the junction of Church Street and Thomas Ashe Street to the junction with Connolly Street and College Street.
It would be closed on Fridays and Saturdays from 6pm to midnight and on Sundays from 3pm to 9pm during from June to September.
The Council says the move would allow for the safe use of outdoor space for outdoor dining and social activity during Covid-19.
It has appealed for members of the public, community groups and businesses to make submissions on the proposals.
