Cootehill has been shortlisted for two awards in this year's .IE Digital Town Awards.
.IE manages Ireland's domain registry and its Digital Town Awards celebrate towns and communities that have embraced technology for the betterment of local people.
Cootehill has been shortlisted for two national awards in the Community Digital and Rising Star categories.
Cootehill's entry relates to its use of social media and a new website to host the St Patrick's Day parade, which encourages participation from both local and online communities.
Shortlisted projects are in with the chance of winning a share of the total prize fund of €100,000.
