Cootehill Credit Union has agreed to provide an ATM in the town following the withdrawal of Bank of Ireland from the area.
They made an agreement on a contract with Brinks, to provide the facility in the front wall of the building at Market Street with a target date of November 8.
Lisa Pepper is a retailer and the President of the Chamber of Commerce in the town and says that this will help businesses survive and will accommodate those uncomfortable with online banking.
