Contracts will be signed today for the latest restoration works of the Ulster Canal in Clones.
Phase Two of the project, which is due to get underway next month, will include the construction of a new marina, repairs to existing bridges and a looped walkway.
At the start of July, €40 million was announced for the third phase of the works, which would join the first two sections via a restored canal and see the waterway fully reopened from Clones to Lough Erne.
Ministers Heather Humphreys and Daragh O'Brien will be in Clones this afternoon to sign off on Phase Two works.
In a statement to Northern Sound News, Minister Humphreys said "the Ulster Canal will bring huge tourism and economic benefits not just to Clones and County Monaghan but to the entire Border region".
