Construction work to replace Brackly Bridge is expected to start shortly.
The budget for the project is approximately 670,000 euro and will include the relocation of the junction on the L4210.
Concerns were raised about poor visibility at the junction and it will now be moved 6 metres towards Lough Egish to address the issue.

There will also be the installation of a new culvert, with the road works expected to last until March.
There will be roads closed with local access restricted when work on the culvert is underway but the council have said that residents will be informed closer to them time and diversions will be in place.
