The construction of a new 77 space car park in Virginia, Co Cavan, has been completed.
The car park has been built on a four-acre site at the "backlands" behind buildings along Main Street in the town.
The 77 space car park includes four disabled spaces.
When the long-awaited works were approved as in June of last year, councillors expressed hope that the car park would alleviate pressure on parking in the town's streets.
Local councillor Shane P O'Reilly says it'll be an asset to the town and visitors alike and said he was delighted to see the project brought to fruition.
He also thanked councillors past and present for their work in advancing the project.
