Conroy Gold has moved a step closer to a "joint venture" which it says will "bring the Clontibret gold deposit to construction-ready status".
The gold exploration company says "definitive agreements for a proposed joint venture with Demir Export are at an advanced stage".
Conroy Gold holds licences over a gold deposit in Clontibret, Co Monaghan, along a geographical region known as the Longford-Down Massif.
The company says the "primary focus of the joint venture, called "Project Inis", is the development of this gold deposit within the Clontibret licence".
It adds that "Clontibret is expected to provide the foundation for a long term relationship" with Demir Export.
