Concerns have been raised over a possible reduction of staff at Cavan Institute next year.
The issue was raised at the September meeting of the CMETB by board member Michelle Flynn.
Due to Covid-19 the number of students that were accepted into the college this year was reduced from the normal 1,265 approximately to just over 700 for this academic year.
She was worried that next years staffing levels would be based on this number as the department usually look to previous October figures when deciding.
The Chief Executive said that it was something they were mindful of, and that they hope this year will be considered to be an exception given the circumstances.
