Concerns have been raised once again over the treatment of egg producers across Cavan and Monaghan.
According to Latton IFA chair, Frank Brady stories have emerged claiming that some supermarkets have passed back a price increase to some egg packers.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Mr Brady warned that most egg producers "cannot survive" on margins that they are currently contending with.
According to Mr Brady, farmers must be supplied with a margin that will enable them to improve their egg houses for animal welfare, build new egg houses to keep markets supplied and to make a margin for themselves.
The IFA Regional Chairman of Ulster North Leinster says farmers need "serious stability" and "commitment."
