The HSE is urging people in the region not to drop their guard when they're at work as Covid outbreaks in some workplaces are increasing.
809 Covid cases have been recorded in the North East over the last seven days, with 138 of those in Monaghan alone.
The majority of cases are in people under the age of 40.
Dr Keith Ian Quintyne says some people are abiding by guidelines when they're at their desks but are then dropping their guard on their lunchbreaks and in communal areas.
The Chief Medical Officer earlier this week urged anyone with Covid symptoms to continue to self-isolate.
Dr Quintyne says people need to heed that advice:
