Concern has been raised for ground-nesting birds after two fires started on Sliabh Beagh this week.
Work is ongoing to determine the extent of the damage caused by the blazes, which were contained within bogland in the County Tyrone part of the mountain.
It's not yet known how the fires started, but they extinguished themselves after burning for a number of hours.
