The Con Smith park run in Cavan Town is celebrating its 50th event this Saturday.
It's a run that has gone from strength to strength since its inception, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
People of all ages from the town and its surrounding areas gather together every Saturday morning where they walk, jog, run and chat.
Speaking to Northern Sound, park run organiser Kim McCafferty said the event is as much a "social occasion" as it is about being fit and healthy.
She also encouraged everyone to come out and support the event this Saturday, which she described as "not just for runners."
